Both swap views are fully automated, finding the best routes and the best current priority fee to perform swaps quickly and securely (less likely to get MEV).

1. Connect wallet

Connecting Your Wallet

To begin using the DApp:

  1. Click the "Connect Wallet" button located at the top right of the navigation bar.
  2. A pop-up will appear prompting you to select and authorize/sign your selected wallet.
  3. Once connected, your selected wallet will be able to interact with Cabana’s DApp.

Disconnecting Your Wallet

To disconnect your wallet:

  1. Click on your wallet address in the top right corner of the interface.
  2. A small sidebar will appear with the options:
    • Copy Address
    • Disconnect
  3. Click Disconnect to securely log out your wallet from the DApp.

2. Classic Swap

The Classic Swap is designed for simplicity and ease of use. It can be accessed by going to Cabana Swap (opens in a new tab) or by clicking "Swap" in the top bar menu.

How to Use Classic Swap

  1. Select Tokens: Choose the tokens you want to swap from the dropdown menus. The first dropdown is for the token you want to swap from, and the second is for the token you want to receive.
  • Sell:The token you are offering in the swap.
  • Buy: The token you will receive in return.
  1. Enter Amount: Input the amount of the token you want to swap. The system will automatically calculate the equivalent amount of the token you will receive.
  • Sell Amount:
    Enter the amount of the token you want to swap in the Sell field. An equivalent value in USD will be shown below for reference.
  • Buy Amount:
    After entering a sell amount, the corresponding buy amount will automatically calculate based on the current market rate.
  1. Review Details: Check the details of the swap, including the exchange rate, fees, and the estimated time for the transaction.
  2. Confirm Swap: Click the "Swap" button to initiate the transaction. You may need to confirm the transaction in your wallet.

The Classic Swap interface is user-friendly and perfect for quick, straightforward swaps.

Note: If the amount you enter exceeds your available balance, an "Insufficient funds" message will appear. Make sure your wallet holds enough tokens to complete the swap.

3. Set Slippage Tolerance

Slippage tolerance controls the maximum price variation you’re willing to accept during the swap. It helps protect you from executing trades at unfavorable prices due to market movement.

Available Options

You can select a preset or define your own:

  • 0.1%
  • 0.5%
  • 1%
  • 2%
  • Custom (enter a percentage manually)

When to Adjust Slippage

  • Lower Tolerance:
    Limits price variation, ideal for stable assets or low-volatility markets. However, it may lead to failed transactions if the market moves quickly.
  • Higher Tolerance:
    Increases the likelihood of a successful trade, especially in volatile markets, but exposes you to more price fluctuation.
